It's official - Apple media event September 1st!

On Wednesday, September 1st, Apple is expected to release new iPods - most likely adding a camera to the iPod Touch.  Also, iOS 4.1, fixing stability issues and adding Apple Gamecenter is expected.  iTunes 10 will also be released.

Another update for iPhone / iPod Touch is available with only these features:

- Improves accuracy of reported battery level on iPhone 3GS
- Resolves issue where third-party apps would not launch in some instances
- Fixes a bug that may cause an app to crash when using the Japanese Kana keyboard

You don't need to update unless you are Japanese, or you regularly examine the battery level in-depth on a iPhone 3GS, or ifyou can't launch third-party apps.  Okay, so my point is THIS UPDATE IS NOTHING!!!
